This is a HUGE Blockbuster for Targeted Justice…
The Supreme Court ruled in 2021 on a case with similarities to our case. The Court said that having your name listed as a “terrorist” on a government list, definitely causes harm to a person.
/
Background:
Sergio Ramirez tried to buy a car from a car dealership in 2011. While processing the paperwork, the dealership discovered that his name was listed as a “potential terrorist” on a TransUnion list, and they refused to sell him the car. This embarrassment occurred in front of his family members. He contacted TransUnion later to find out why he was denied credit… TransUnion had obtained the information from the U.S. Treasury Department.
/
The case is TransUnion, LLC v. Ramirez, 141 S.Ct. 2190 (2021),
where the United States Supreme Court held the following:
“Under longstanding American law, a person is injured when a defamatory statement that would subject him to hatred, contempt, or ridicule is published to a third party.”
/
TransUnion provided third parties with credit reports containing U.S. Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) alerts that labeled the persons as potential terrorists, drug traffickers, or serious criminals. These people suffered a harm with a “close relationship” to the harm associated with the tort of defamation. We have no trouble finding that (these people)… suffered a concrete harm that qualifies as an injury in fact.” (TransUnion LLC v. Ramirez, supra, 141 S. Ct. at 2208-2209)
/
The Treasury Department likely got most of the names from the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center.
/
The Supreme Court went on to categorically assert that:
The harm from being labeled a “potential terrorist” bears a close relationship to the harm from being labeled a “terrorist”. In other words, the harm from a misleading statement of this kind bears a sufficiently close relationship to the harm from a false and defamatory statement.” (TransUnion LLC v. Ramirez, supra, 141 S. Ct. 2209, emphasis ours.)
/
This cited case is extremely important, because it shows that the FBI cannot place non-terrorists on a terrorist list and distribute it - which is exactly what they have done. It is defamatory and unconstitutional. The Supreme Court already agrees that we have been harmed. That is a very good start. :)

I think I'm just going to come off this forum for a while as reading this is too much too bear right now. I will be praying for all of us.
If you believe Jesus died for our sins, your soul will be saved. There is proof in Daniel 9:24-27 and the New Testament that Jesus us the true Messiah.
I wish to recognize, and commend all of the defendants and personnel from Targeted Justice for your continued battle to have something sink into the minds of these that sit behind that alter, and weigh the facts of what is done illegally to the countless citizens who daily are not granted their Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness these courts fail to uphold.
So Thank You All for your valiant efforts!
