Schriever Space Force Base is the largest satellite operations facility in the world. It is a deep underground military base, and has been the center of controversy for decades, primarily due to its secretive nature, and the number of personnel with Top Secret clearances. Lockheed’s main satellite factory is not far from Schriever Base. This is where the latest GPS satellites are produced. These are the satellites that track everyone in the United States, and are operated by Squadron 2, at the U.S. Space Force.
